Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the facility, including common areas, resident spaces, grounds, and fixtures.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment throughout the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Monitor the building and surrounding grounds to ensure a clean, neat, and professional appearance.


* Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility.


* Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and other surfaces.


* Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.


* Remove trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.


* Maintain and properly use all housekeeping and janitorial equipment.


* Report maintenance concerns and major repair needs to management in a timely manner.


* Follow established safety, infection control, and cleaning procedures.


* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience


* High school diploma or GED preferred.


* Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


* Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities


* Strong verbal and written communication skills.


* Excellent time management and organizational skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Compensation & Benefits


* Pay Range: $17.48 - $18.00 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)


* Full-time position
