Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Supports the planning and execution of Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects within manufacturing operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Collects and analyzes data to identify performance trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
* Participates as a member of cross-functional project teams to implement solutions and monitor results.
* Assists in conducting process mapping, time studies, and root cause analyses to address operational issues of limited to moderate complexity.
* Prepares reports, presentations, and recommendations to communicate findings and project progress.
* Contributes to the development and standardization of best practices across manufacturing sites.
* Monitors project implementation to ensure adherence to timelines, objectives, and established standards.
* Applies structured problem-solving techniques to recommend incremental process improvements with measurable outcomes.
* Collaborates with colleagues and supervisors to build Lean capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
* Typically possesses Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge & Skills
* Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Skill in assessing processes and supporting the execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ability to apply Lean practices to optimize performance and streamline operations.
* Analytical skills to collect, interpret, and use data to support improvement decisions.
* Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support shared goals.
* Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
