Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

This role plays an important part in supporting resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities


* Maintain all public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors


* Clean and sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms


* Ensure handrails are clean and free of debris


* Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers


* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners


* Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas


* Follow all safety procedures, including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storage


* Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively


* Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary manner


* Report resident safety concerns promptly to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing


* Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment


* Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors


* Work independently and collaboratively to maintain facility cleanliness standards

Qualifications
Education & Experience


* High school diploma or GED required


* Previous housekeeping experience preferred


* Long-term care or healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus
