Maintenance Technician

SYNC Residential is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Service team at an upcoming acquisition in the 78233 area code! This 300+ unit, Class A, Garden Style community was built in 2017 and offers modern, elevated finishes with resort-style amenities.

A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Tech with SYNC Residential: Participating in daily groundskeeping duties throughout the communityCompleting work orders as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager in order of priorityWalking all grounds, parking lots or garages, pool areas, amenity spaces, and common areas to remove all waste items and ensure all equipment and community property is in proper working condition and free from safety hazardsAssisting in the make ready process as needed to ensure unit availability for leasing effortsSupporting Maintenance Supervisor with all checklists and completing projects as assignedUpdating all relevant systems of work order and make ready statuses for proper tracking and reportingResponding to after hours and emergency work order calls Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties: Responsible for maintaining the cleaned and repaired condition of the property interiors, exteriors, and site using company supplied materials and equipment and following manufacturers directions for the same.

Provides support and rotates emergency calls with the Maintenance Lead.

This is a line position with direct impact on company funds.

Monitors and assists completion of make-ready units.

Trouble-shoots, diagnoses and corrects minor air conditioning failures (i.e., low freon, bad compressor, fan motors).

Must be EPA certified.

Ensures filters are replaced in a timely manner.

Assists with replacing complete systems as needed.

Performs air conditioning repairs and replacements in compliance with federal regulations.Trouble-shoots, diagnoses and corrects minor heating failures (i.e., replace heat strips, exchangers, thermo couplings, boilers, tube bundles, etc).

Completes preventative maintenance as necessary.Trouble-shoots diagnoses and corrects minor appliance failures (i.e., change out or repair dishwasher motors, garbage disposals, ice makers, stove elements, thermo couplings, etc).Repairs minor electrical problems (i.e., change out switches, receptacles, fixtures, etc).

May work with high voltage 110-220 volt.Repair minor plumbing problems (i.e., change out bibs, seats, pop-up assemblies, operate sewer machines, sweat copper lines, maintains boiler logs, etc).Provides minor carpentry, glass and sheet rock repairs (i.e., remove/replace doorframes, patch holes in sheet rock, apply texture, repair sub floors, repair cabinets, etc).Assists in monitoring inventory of maintena...
