Manufacturing Quality Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Quality Supervisor to oversee quality operations within our copper and sheet metal fabrication and painting processes.

This role is responsible for ensuring products consistently meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations throughout key manufacturing stages, including punching, cutting, bending, assembly, and powder/liquid painting.

The Quality Supervisor will lead a team of inspectors, testers, and pack-out associates while driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a strong culture of quality and safety.

Work Schedule: This position supports first-shift operations, with typical working hours of approximately 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Weekend flexibility is required to support production schedules, audits, quality initiatives, and business needs.
What Will You Do?


* Lead, train, mentor, and supervise a team of quality inspectors, testers, and pack-out associates to ensure consistent performance and adherence to quality standards.


* Oversee quality inspections and testing activities throughout fabrication and painting operations, including punching, cutting, bending, assembly, and finishing processes.


* Ensure all inspection and testing procedures comply with applicable regulatory, customer, environmental, and safety requirements.


* Prioritize workflow within quality and testing functions to ensure adequate time for inspection and verification of products before shipment.


* Investigate product and process quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.


* Analyze customer complaints and quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D reporting.


* Create, maintain, and analyze quality metrics, production reports, Pareto analyses, and key performance indicators to identify trends and improvement opportunities.


* Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and increasing overall product quality.


* Support Safety, Schneider Production System (SPS), ISO, and other internal or external audits.


* Ensure corrective actions resulting from audits are completed accurately and within established timelines.


* Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and other support teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve production performance.


* Develop and communicate monthly quality performance reports for plant leadership and global stakeholders.


* Assist the Quality Manager in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).


* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, quality excellence, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations.
