CPE Course Assistant/Corporate course

Job Description

This is a part-time hourly position.

This position requires a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 

This position requires skills in the following areas:


*  Proficiency with BigQuery and BigQuery ML; strong SQL and Python skills 


* Experience with ML model training, feature engineering, and deployment on Vertex AI or equivalent 


*  Working knowledge of MLOps concepts: model versioning, drift monitoring, pipeline orchestration 


* ​Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding-based retrieval

* Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding-based retrieval 


* Comfort with Jupyter/Vertex AI Workbench notebooks and Keras or equivalent ML frameworks


* Hands-on software engineering experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or any other cloud platform with ability to quickly learn GCP. 


* Proficiency with Vertex AI services: Workbench, Model Garden, Agent Engine, Gemini APIs 


* Experience building GenAI applications including RAG pipelines and prompt-engineered systems 


* Working knowledge of agentic frameworks (ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent) 


*  Solid Python skills; comfort with Jupyter/Colab notebooks 


*  Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD, logging, monitoring (Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring) 

Preferred qualifications:


* Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or ML Engineer certification


* Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or A2A multi-agent coordination patterns


* Experience building streaming pipelines with Dataflow or Pub/Sub


* Exposure to responsible AI frameworks and Model Armor / prompt security tooling and agentic AI frameworks (ADK, LangChain, LangGraph) in data science workflows


* Familiarity with BigQuery and BigQuery ML for data-grounded AI workflows and with Gemini for Data Scientists and Gemini-in-BigQuery integrations


* Experience applying responsible AI, model interpretability, or data ethics frameworks


* Prior TA, tutoring, or mentoring experience in a technical or data science program
