Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


* Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance procedures.

Performs visual inspections, checks fluid levels, lubricates, and cleans parts, tightens, and adjusts components, replaces parts, calibrates sensors and gauges.


* Assists wtth visually inspecting and testing machinery and equipment.


* Listens for unusual sounds and learns to detect malfunctions.


* Assists with dismantling defective parts and installing new or repaired parts.


* Assists with layouts, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.


* Assists with installing and repairing electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring.


* Maintains the physical structure of the establishment.


* Assists with installing machinery, platforms, guards.


* Follows guidance from more senior level colleagues.


* Follows the operations and company safety procedures and practices.


* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience


* Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience.

Knowledge & Skills



* Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, including inspection and basic part replacement.


* Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems for assisting in troubleshooting.


* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.


* Basic understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and equipment assembly.


* Awareness of safety procedures, regulations, and company policies.


* Attention to detail to detect unusual sounds, malfunctions, or irregular conditions.


* Works well under close guidance while following safety and operating procedures.


* Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance with procedures.
