Quality Lead - 1st Shift
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
* Must be able to push/pull up to 30 lbs
Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
* Minimum of ten years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Must be able to read and write in English proficiently.
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
* 5 years' experience in aerospace manufacturing
* Supervisory Experience of at least 10 employees
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, industry standards, and customer specifications.
* Ability to work on multiple tasks, have good time management skills, and communicate status.
* Business management skills
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Experience working with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
* Experience in manufacturing of aerospace fasteners
* Experience or certification in Lean Manufacturing
* Obtain an AS9100 Internal Auditor certification
* Demonstrated commitment to employee involvement, participative management, and continuous improvement

The salary range for this position is $35/hr to $42/hrEssential Functions:
Responsible for directing and assisting quality teams in obtaining efficient operation of the quality activities.
Responsible for directing laboratory inspections, gauge calibration and maintaining a clear record of quality.
Maintain a customer focus (quality and on-time delivery are priority.) Assure a safe and healthful workplace and direct activities of quality technicians.
Show by example a commitment to employee involvement, participative management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, AS9100, Nadcap, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
* Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
* Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
* Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to the Quality Manager, EHS Manager, and/or Supervisor.
* Establish procedures for laboratory housekeeping and 5S implementation.
* Participate as a Safety Committee member and ensure team are issuing Injury Free Event (IFE) reports.
* Direct the quality teams in evaluating quality of products to meet the customer's quality and on-time delivery requirements.
* Assist in setting and achieving productivity and quality targets for the various teams.
