Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Pay Range: $17.48 - $19.00 per hour, DOE
Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, ensuring all areas meet health, safety, and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities


* Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices


* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces


* Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly


* Clean windows, walls, and fixtures as needed


* Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas


* Follow facility infection control and safety protocols


* Report maintenance or safety concerns to management


* Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned

Qualifications


* Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred


* Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures


* Strong attention to detail and reliability


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods


* Knowledge of infection control practices preferred
