As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the continued financial health of the organization by providing critical analyses and insights that are used for informed decision making.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Design, prepare and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
* Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs.
budgets and identifying variance drivers
* Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging
* Identify, measure and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics
* Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution
* Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
* Design reports that are concise, well organized, professional in appearance and easy to modify and distribute
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 2 years of experience in audit, accounting or FP&A
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
It'd be great if you also have:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field
* 4 years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
* Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other BI tools
* Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information appropriate for intended audience
* Strong ability to develop insightful, value-added and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations
