The Role: Business Offer Manager - Final Distribution

We are looking for an experienced Business Offer Manager to be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive the profitable growth of Final Distribution in Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur.

What will you do?

This key position is responsible for growing the business by developing the product offer, analysing the market, pricing, competitors, setting targets and providing support to the commercial teams.


* Master the offer and channel environment.


* Develop the Residential and Commercial & Industrial Buildings markets for the relevant offers.


* Drive the digital transformation for the offer.


* Confirm existing strategies and identify new market segments, channels, and business models.


* Own the Pricing/Positioning of the offers in line with global and local guidelines.


* Cost/Gross Margin/Price analysis.


* Work with regional Business Development team and Global Offer Managers to define and execute the future roadmap for the relevant countries, including launches and withdrawals.


* Work with Marketing Communications team and Global Offer managers to develop localized sales support communication materials.


* Take part and contribute to Sales, Inventory and Operation Planning process.


* Gather and analyse actionable Competitor Intelligence.

What qualifications will make you successful?


* Electrical/Electronic engineering / business tertiary qualification, in line with portfolio requirements.


* At least 5-8 years of experience in the related field.

Proven ability to manage a similar portfolio in the past would be a huge plus.


* Good knowledge of Marketing fundamentals (4Ps).

Willingness to think outside the box and try new things.


* Relevant project, product, or people management experience (direct or indirect).


* Understand both commercial and business units, understand the electrical industry.


* Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills are necessary.

Good presentation skills.


* Very comfortable in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


* Ability to work in a high-pressure matrix organisation environment with frequent interaction with Cluster top management.


* Proficiency of local dialects from a business standpoint would be a plus.
