Procedure/Surgical Services Supervisor

100% FTE, Monday - Friday, typically 8 hour shifts during business hours.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

You will be working at the Digestive Health Center in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Procedure/Surgical Services Supervisor to:


* Help lead the day-to-day operations and coordination of patient care services.


* Promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice.


* Facilitate communication, coordination and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning and provision of high quality, cost-effective care.


* Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts, train/mentor staff, and resolve patient concerns.


* Be able to perform procedures, moderate sedation, critical thinking and overall flow.


* Be an effective member of the Endoscopy management team, fostering a customer/patient focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards.

Qualifications



* Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing Required


* Master of Science in Nursing or relevant field Preferred

Work Experience



* 2 years relevant nursing experience Required


* Evidence of leadership experience Required


* 5 years of relevant experience in clinical practice Preferred


* Leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated success Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required


* Current CPR/BLS Certification Required


* Current ACLS Certification Required
