Electrical Engineer

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $101,000 - $138,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer for the Sustaining Engineering team is responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating Motivair by Schneider Electric's custom electrical systems and components for liquid-cooling and integrated power products.

The role involves maintaining, upgrading, and continuously supporting the electrical design and specification aspects of the Motivair product line.

The role also involves using electrical engineering expertise to support the service team with customer issues, and support queries from production.

This role requires strong technical judgment, deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, and the ability to apply best industry practices to electrical designs.

Duties and Responsibilities


* Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and control system architectures.


* Generate electrical layouts, routing, harness designs, and documentation packages for production.


* Support PLC, sensor, and control-logic integration with cross-functional teams.


* Review schematics with customers to answer questions during pre- and post-sale of products.


* Confer with assemblers to resolve problems regarding the building of electrical systems.


* Prepare all documentation necessary for production and customer support (proposals, quotes, drawings, BOM, schematics, manuals, technical instructions, etc.).
