Overview

Lead Banquet team in the service of guests during banquet functions, while assisting with the leadership and coordination of the In-Room Dining team to ensure a consistently positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Review server and house person Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.


* Verify room setups to ensure all BEO specifications are followed; maintain cleanliness and organization of all public areas.


* Serve as the primary point of contact for group representatives and explain procedures for contacting management throughout functions.


* Communicate all BEO changes promptly to the catering office and all affected departments.


* Coordinate banquet staff regarding event setups, changes, and timelines to ensure smooth execution of all functions.


* Operate as a banquet server, including setting up events, greeting and serving guests, and breaking down functions.


* Assist in leading the In-Room Dining team by coordinating service flow, supporting staff during peak hours, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.


* Monitor In-Room Dining service standards to ensure guest satisfaction, proper presentation, and adherence to hotel policies.


* Communicate guest requests, service issues, and operational needs related to In-Room Dining to appropriate departments.


* Inspect banquet and In-Room Dining service areas at the conclusion of service to ensure equipment is returned properly and areas are clean.


* Reconcile banquet and In-Room Dining checks at the end of each day and submit documentation to Night Audit.
