Shift differentials will be between $2-$3/hr for 2nd & 3rd shift.

What You'll Be Doing:


* Monitor machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.


* Lays out, assembles, installs, maintains, and repairs pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.


* Assembles and installs electronic control systems for production machinery and associated automated equipment's gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.


* Perform preventive maintenance per schedule.


* Communicate with operators pre- and post-repair.


* Interact with operators to troubleshoot, repair and test equipment.


* Communicate with Team Leader and/or Maintenance Supervisor on major repair needs discovered.


* Complete, sign and submit work orders.


* Complete order list of equipment and supplies to be ordered.


* Review new equipment standard issues.


* Follow lock-out/tag out procedures.


* Housekeeping around the plant as necessary.


* Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures.

Qualifications:


* Associate's degree (A.

A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


* 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.


* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


* Ability to write routine reports and correspond with co-workers and suppliers/vendors.


* Ability to read and interpret Electrical Pneumatic and Piping Schematics.


* Skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools.

Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


* Computer skills: Basic computer skills are needed


* Certifications/Licenses: Forklift license is a plus, but not required


* Language skills : Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents.

Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, and leadership.
