Role Overview:

Victorian Post Acute, located in the heart of San Francisco on Pine Street, is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities



* Team Leadership: Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure consistent cleaning of offices, public areas, and resident rooms.


* Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of all resident and public areas to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.


* Specialized Planning: Schedule and oversee deep-cleaning programs, including annuals, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning.


* Inventory & Budget: Monitor inventory levels, order equipment/supplies, and assist in monitoring the department budget.


* Safety & Compliance: Ensure staff is trained on the safe handling of chemicals (MSDS) and remains in full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/federal healthcare regulations.


* Hands-On Support: Lead by example by assisting staff with cleaning duties (floors, restrooms, resident apartments) as needed to ensure the job is done right.


* Professional Rapport: Maintain a tactful and professional relationship with residents, family members, and government agency personnel.

Qualifications



* Education: High school diploma or GED.


* SNF Experience Required: Previous experience as an EVS or Housekeeping lead in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care environment is highly preferred.


* Leadership Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in supervision and staff scheduling.
