We are now in an exciting growth phase and are looking for an Account Manager - Water & Environment who wants to join our team and strengthen our position in the Swedish water sector.

In this role, you will develop both existing customer relationships and new long-term partnerships across Municipal water and wastewater utilities, Industrial water users, System integrators, EPCs, and design partners.

You will work both strategically and operationally as wel as collaborate closely with our technical specialists, partners, management, and marketing teams.

This role gives you broad influence, strong customer exposure, and a unique opportunity to support the digital transformation of Sweden's water infrastructure.

Key Tasks & Areas of Responsibility


* Manage and grow a customer portfolio within the Water & Environment segment


* Identify and drive new business opportunities from prospecting to closing


* Lead customer meetings, needs analyses, workshops, and technical discussions


* Consultative sales across water monitoring, digital platforms, automation, and sustainability solutions


* Prepare quotations, tenders, and solution proposals with support from technical specialists


* Build strong long-term relationships at both operational and C-level


* Represent Schneider at trade fairs, events, and industry networks


* Collaborate with system integrators and EPCs to strengthen market presence


* Contribute to major Nordic projects in water infrastructure modernization and digital transformation

Qualifications


* Proven solution sales experience, preferably in software, automation, industrial tech, or process solutions


* Strong consultative sales skills and ability to build trusted customer relationships


* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English


* Experience in water/wastewater, process industry, water treatment, or digital water solutions


* Technical background in environmental, process, automation, chemistry, or similar fields


* Familiarity with public procurement and long tender cycles


* Experience driving complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
