WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Assembles fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and completes units
* Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
* Conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components
* Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment
* Regularly stand while performing job duties
* Use hands frequently for handling, adjusting, or assembling parts; reach with hands and arms
* Walk, sit, talk, and hear regularly
* Lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally
* Maintain required vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
* Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and a usually moderate noise level while performing this job
* Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; able to write basic correspondence
* Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings with customers, clients, and coworkers
* Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve routine problems involving multiple concrete variables
