IT Project Manager

Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Duration: 1 year with a 2 year option
Work Location: Onsite at Y-12 National Security Complex 
Clearance: Active DOE Q Clearance

KeyLogic has an opening for an IT Project Manager for the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN.

This position is responsible for overseeing and directly managing technology projects.

Ensures cybersecurity is built into projects to protect the organization’s critical infrastructure and assets, reduce risk, and meet organizational goals.

Tracks and communicates project status and demonstrates project value to the organization.

Knowledge, Skillset, and Abilities (KSAs) –

▪ Proven record in managing multiple concurrent Digital Transformation/technical initiatives.

The scope of such initiatives should have covered one or more of the following, preferably in a manufacturing environment: Technical and Physical Infrastructure modernization, Wireless and Networking Capabilities, Cybersecurity and Tech Security compliance, Process Optimization platforms implementation, Enterprise Resource Planning systems like SAP, and Enterprise Data Ecosystems connected to disparate data sources including Operational Technology networks.



*Candidates will be evaluated for aptitude to handle a variety of scopes under the ambit of Digital Transformation, beyond the ones listed above

▪ Customer advocacy and self-directed mindset with demonstrated successes in delivering technology driven business transformation, running projects from cradle to grave, often in an ambiguous and fluid environment with evolving priorities and stakeholder influences.

▪ Expert level project management skills, leveraging appropriate traditional as well as agile frameworks, covering requirements definition and business case justification; scope, cost, schedule, and performance management; risk management; stakeholder engagement and strategic communications; managing project documentation; and project close outs.

▪ Solid time management and analytical skills

▪ Skilled in conflict resolution, with an emphasis on active listening and collaboration

▪ Effective communication across various levels of the company

▪ Working knowledge of Microsoft Project (DevOps or P6 experience is helpful)

Specific Deliverables –

▪ Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.

▪ Responsible for keeping projects on track with time and budget and leading weekly integrated project team (IPT) meetings.

▪ Create documentation and revise as appropriate: Business Case and Requirements, Project Management plans, Communication plans, Test Plans, Risk Mitigation plans, and other Project Management and planning documents.

▪ Work within department and with business unit managers across company, as well as other project team members to achieve project completion.
