Patient Account Representative Trainer

Join the Patient Financial Services team as a Patient Account Rep (PAR) Trainer
Compensation: generally, is between $25.30-$30.35 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Location: The VIC (18110 SE 34th Street - Vancouver, WA 98683)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00a-4:30p.

The Patient Account Rep Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive training to all new hires and students in the Patient Financial Services department.

In this role you will ensure staff is equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully perform their role.

The PAR Trainer identifies/creates training needs, delivers ongoing training, supports process and workflow changes, and helps maintain consistent, high-quality performance across multiple PFS teams.

Must have excellent communication in order to collaborate with leadership to support process improvement strategies and work autonomously to maintain up-to-date documentation/training materials.

What to expect:


* Train new hires within PFS with regards to job duties, ensuring understanding and competency


* Maintain standard work and ensure documentation reflects current processes/procedures/how-to.


* Facilitate on-going team training to reinforce processes and/or address areas needing refresh.


* Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating strong initiative and follow-through.


* Make recommendations to leadership regarding trends or when problems are identified.


* Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in healthcare billing required


* Proficiency with using Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel


* Strong problem solving, organization, and time-management skills to meet deadlines and control competing priorities


* Ability to work autonomously while supporting multiple departments with varying needs

Pay Range:
$24.82 - $34.74
