Position: Activities Coordinator

Palmettos of Charleston is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Activities Coordinator 3 to 4 days a weeks.

This is a part time position which is flexible on days and times.

Experience


* Ability to pass a background check


* Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR


* Satisfactory completion of two years of college OR


* Two years of experience in long term care as it relates to activities and memory care


* Experience with Dementia preferred

Position Highlights:


* Plan and coordinate well-rounded activities for a 15-apartment Memory Care unit


* Create activity calendar and ensure it is followed accordingly


* Assist with nursing/caregiving to ensure quality of care for the residents as needed.


* Work closely with Memory Care Director


* Partner with Life Enrichment Director for center wide activities


* Demonstrate positive and professional work habits
