Assisant Controller - Erie

Overview:

As the Assistant Controller at the Barber National Institute, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial reporting for assigned companies.

This mid-level management role supports the Controller in overseeing financial activities, internal controls, and reporting while leading a small team of accounting associates (2-5 direct reports).

You will play a vital part in producing timely financial statements, managing the close process, and supporting audits and compliance efforts.

This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical leader who can balance financial accuracy with mentorship, coaching, and professional development of staff, while ensuring the organization maintains compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and nonprofit reporting standards.
