Materials Analyst I

RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Assist with analysis and evaluation of MPO materials and service needs.


* Analyze and manage inventory through forecasting projects, seasonal and emergency demands.


* Acquire and distribute materials in a cost effective and timely manner, including determining inventory levels.


* Maintain and verify records, complying with rules/laws/regulations.


* Coordinate and schedule activities for inventory employees and contractors.


* Assist in cross-functional teams and provides analytical support for projects.


* Design, test, implement, document and evaluate processes and systems that support business strategies


* Coordinate and assist with training.


* Effective performance required to assure materials and services are available to meet corporate goals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:


* Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
+ Candidates completing their degree by December 31, 2025, will be considered

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


* No experience required
+ Additional experience or training in electric utility industry Operations, purchasing, or inventory administration preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


* This position will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN


* Requires good interpersonal, technical and communication skills to establish and maintain productive working relationships and to enhance effective Operations.


* This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:


* The expected annual compensation range for this position is $52,000 - $64,000.

Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
