Continuous Improvement Manager - Hospital Administration

The County of Riverside's Hospital Administration Unit at Riverside University Health System is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team in Moreno Valley.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will collaborate with front-line leaders and teams at our Community Health Centers to drive continuous improvement and manage for Daily Improvements (MDI), aiming to enhance operational performance through the development and implementation of best practices, policies, processes, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include consulting and coaching on leadership competencies in continuous improvement, facilitating Value Stream Analysis, Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), and projects using problem-solving methodologies, delivering data-driven analysis and reports to support administrative and operational decision-making, managing multiple high-priority projects with a focus on ownership and accountability, and proactively addressing potential issues with timely escalation when necessary.

Schedule:
9/80F - Will require frequent travel to County locations on most days.

Competitive candidates will have:


* Background in healthcare operations, ideally in Community Health Centers or ambulatory care


* Dedicated Lean Facilitator experience


* Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred with applied experience


* Knowledge of Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI) systems and continuous improvement methodologies


* Experience leading Lean initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping and Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs)


* Proven project management experience across multiple high-priority initiatives


* Able to interact effectively with diverse groups and act as a facilitator of change management


* Experience interpreting and analyzing EHR data (Epic or other)


* Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI or other)


* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
