As a Restaurant Server, you’ll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink and help keep service on-track and up to standard.

By tailoring each guest’s experience to their unique tastes, you’ll create memories as delightful as the dishes.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but mostly you’ll be:


* Report to work punctually ten minutes prior to start time on the roster, dressed in appropriate uniform and with impeccable grooming which complies with the Hotel’s policy and procedures


* During service, maintain cleanliness and appearance of immediate work area, including tables, stations, bar area, back-of-house preparation areas etc.

Maintain standard of cleanliness of all items of operating equipment within these areas.


* Be familiar with food and beverage item par stocks, requisitioning procedures and transfers.

Rotate perishable stock of food and beverage items on a ‘first-in first-out’ basis ensuring they are stored securely in the correct location.


* Perform department/outlet opening or closing duties as required.

Ensure that wait staff stations are clean and maintained throughout shift.


* Attend briefings and training sessions.


* Assist colleagues as required.


* Maintain a cost conscious attitude at all times, advise supervisor of any damage, spillage or breakage.

Assist in periodic stocktakes of


* food, beverage, tobacco, equipment and/or linen as required.

Be familiar with linen item par stocks and replenishment procedures.
