An exciting full-time 12-month contract opportunity is available to be part of a friendly, high performing team of researchers in the development of new animal health products globally.

Your Role: Research Scientist (1 year contract)

As a Scientist, you will be part of the Animal Health R&D team, supporting the development of new products and label extensions for the ANZ and global markets.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating in-vivo studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality scientific outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:


* Conduct and/or assist in coordinating biological study phases to evaluate safety, efficacy, and tolerance of compounds or vaccines


* Ensure studies align comply with external and internal guidelines (e.g.

SOPs, VICH, FDA, OECD, GxP, HSE and Animal Welfare Code of Practice) Elanco Good Research Practice guidelines


* Collect biological specimens and manage data for regulatory submission ensure all data generated in studies is available, presented and maintained to a standard suitable for submission to regulatory authorities.


* Support Study Management and other operational teams as required


* Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and documentation

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related scientific discipline (preferably veterinary or animal science)


* Experience: Demonstrated relevant industry experience in animal research or clinical studies


* Strong problem-solving, and analytical and organisational skills; effective written and verbal communication — Enthusiasm and energy for the role with a strong drive for achievement, and to work well in a team environment
