Role Summary

The Maintenance Lead will provide technical leadership and expertise to drive continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects, also will focus on the planning of the repair and maintenance of Mentor equipment, machinery or instruments.

In this role they will optimize the availability and productivity of our manufacturing facilities and equipment, perform engineering reviews, coordinate repair work and participate in the commissioning and installation of new equipment and provide guidance to a team that provides technical knowledge to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.

The responsibilities you will have:

General Duties:


* Represents the maintenance department within the site and the engineering community.


* Communicate on all levels on daily work and business updates.


* Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to higher management level.


* Represent the Maintenance, validation, and calibration within the Quality management system.


* Manage maintenance and spare parts budget.

Technical Duties:



* Responsible for the daily management of the activities of the Maintenance Department.

Anticipates maintenance problems associated with installation of manufacturing equipment and other utility equipment.


* Identify Continuous improvement opportunities within the Maintenance scope.


* Develop and Follow performance metrics (KPIS) and initiate appropriate actions.
