Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Reliability Coordinator to join our Brookneal OSB facility in Gladys, VA.
The Reliability Coordinator supports the organization's strategic goals by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment, facilities, and processes.
Reporting to the Reliability Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating reliability initiatives, analyzing equipment performance, and implementing proactive strategies to minimize downtime and optimize operational performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reliability concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Do
* Conduct root cause failure analyses (RCFA) to identify and address equipment or process failures
* Monitor and analyze the performance of critical assets using predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis)
* Identify and recommend maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency
* Assist in developing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
* Coordinate with the Maintenance and Operations teams to schedule and execute reliability initiatives and planned maintenance activities
* Track and report key reliability metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
* Support cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), to ensure alignment with reliability objectives
* Provide technical expertise and hands-on training to maintenance personnel to promote reliability best practices
* Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to the Reliability Manager and other stakeholders
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce costs
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to introduce innovative solutions
* Ability to work in high places more than 80 feet, using man lifts, and working in confined spaces
* Perform field validation and assisting/training team members in a manufacturing facility, including lifting walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling
* Existing reliability certifications are strongly preferred.
