Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our care team.

The ideal candidate will safely administer medications and support residents' well-being while maintaining compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

This role requires attention to detail, compassion for seniors, and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:


* Administer oral and topical medications accurately and safely


* Document medication administration and resident responses


* Observe residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns promptly


* Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper labeling and storage


* Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and residents


* Comply with all facility procedures related to medication administration, documentation, and resident care


* Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Knowledge of common medications and medical abbreviations


* Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills


* Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs and assist during emergencies
