Summary - basic function of the role
Perform a wide variety of duties to plan, schedule and expedite production orders through the value stream to include determining of material order requirements, dealing with sales representatives and end user customers, and compiling and preparing of labor reports.

Shift: Monday - Friday; 8 - 4:30 pm or 8:30 - 5:00 pm; flexible

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Knowledge of plant manufacturing processes, for example: Capacity Planning and MES

· Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning, Kanban, Vendor Managed Inventory programs, and purchasing.

· Excellent interpersonal and cross - functional skills.

· Excellent communication skills; verbally and electronically.

· Independent decision-making, judgment, and action.

· Required to be knowledgeable, perform and teach a variety of tasks or jobs (from simple to complex) within defined product areas or departmental functions.

· May guide and direct a work team - organizing and communicating with the work team to complete required tasks in the most efficient manner.

· Familiarity of current Microsoft Office programs- Including Excel, Outlook, and Word

· Understand reference drawings and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

Skills and Competencies
