Portfolio Strategy Analyst - Global Real Estate

Join our Global Real Estate Portfolio Management team to support real estate and investment strategy initiatives globally, optimizing the firm's corporate real estate portfolio.

As a Portfolio Strategy Analyst with in Global Real Estate (GRE), you will play a crucial role within the GRE department, focusing on maximizing the value of real estate assets through strategic investment and management.

Leverage your understanding of real estate, and financial modeling, while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities:


* Provide analytical support for major decisions regarding JPMC's owned and leased corporate real estate across the globe, driving value creation through analyzing a wide variety of real estate metrics and performance indicators


* Assist in execution of acquisitions, dispositions, and lease transactions for properties within JPMC's real estate portfolio


* Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with various stakeholders, both internal (finance, property management, design and construction, regional/local teams) and external (brokers, lawyers, consultants, and other vendors)


* Contribute to major Global Real Estate strategic initiatives, such as the construction of a new building or the rollout of a new technology tool


* Contribute to major project milestones and critical decision dates; holding relevant stakeholders accountable; maintain meeting notes/minutes; prepare agendas before meetings and action items after meetings


* Adhere to all required processes/procedures/protocols as stipulated by banking regulations across the globe


* Generate unbudgeted income from evaluating vacant / underutilized space as part of an active asset management program; achieve gains through sale of excess land

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:


* Bachelor's degree in related field


* 1+ years of financial, analytical, and modeling experience


* Understanding of real estate and finance concepts (value drivers, capitalization rates, accounting, etc.)


* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


* Well-organized with a strong attention to detail


* Ability to effectively interact with internal and external partners and with senior corporate leaders


* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment


* High level of professionalism and commitment to the team's success


* Familiarity with data from external sources such as CoStar, Green Street, Rockport VAL
