Veranda Rehabilitation & Healthcare is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor

Shifts: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.

Weekends: on call

Duties:


* Hire, supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members and ensure that all team members follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies


* Coordinates with contractors and venders making sure insurance and licenses are current


* Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm systems


* Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment


* Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary


* Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan
