General Purpose of Job

The Logistics Coordinator assists with logistics operations for the Supply Chain Services Department at SECO Energy, ensuring the efficient handling of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and reverse logistics processes.

This position aids in the creation and implementation of best practices for investment recovery, including determining and initiating the sale, scrap, repair, or reuse of used, obsolete, discontinued, or excess materials and equipment.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in tracking and verifying shipping and receiving documentation, monitoring non-stock materials, processing and tracking returns and replacements, assisting with package delivery, and analyzing inventory for critical technology items.

Leveraging strong analytical skills, this role identifies and works with leadership to implement process efficiencies and improvements, ensuring alignment with SECO Energy's Mission, Vision, and strategic goals.

Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to maintain seamless logistical operations.

Requirements

Education


* Minimum: High School Diploma or GED


* Preferred: Associate's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.


* Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis


* Certification in a supply chain-related function such as Inventory Control, Logistics, or Purchasing is preferred.

Experience


* Minimum: Two (2) years of experience in logistics, supply chain.


* Experience or similar work in an electric utility or related industry preferred.

Other Requirements


* Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situation


* Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.


* Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
