Warehouse Operations Lead- Day and Night Shift

As a Lead, Warehouse Operations, you’ll guide a team of dock workers in daily operations, ensuring freight is handled safely, efficiently and accurately.

You’ll be a key player in keeping our warehouse running smoothly all while helping your team grow and succeed.

At RXO, we’re looking for a dedicated, dependable Lead, Warehouse Operations who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to take on a leadership role.

What your day-to-day will look like:


* Lead and support the dock team in loading and unloading freight using manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts


* Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity, accuracy and safety standards are met


* Train team members on proper equipment use, safety procedures and best practices


* Help organize freight on the dock according to destination and priority, ensuring accurate handling and documentation


* Communicate clearly with dispatchers, drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate freight movement


* Monitor inventory levels and assist with merchandise reconciliation


* Keep the dock clean, safe and well-stocked with tools and supplies


* Identify and resolve operational challenges, addressing performance issues as needed

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* 4 years of warehouse experience

It'd be great if you also have:


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Microsoft Office experience and proficiency


* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Solid leadership skills; able to coach and mentor team members; Experience in a supervisory role


* Solid math skills and analytical ability

This job requires the ability to:


* Lift up to 50 lbs


* Work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled
