Product Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Responsible for the product development process and driving the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs.

Develop product strategy and roadmap, collect and analyze metrics on product performance to inform decisions.

Work closely with product management team and cross-functional partners including Design, Engineering and process owners and business partners.

Leverage Wealth Management business knowledge, skills and insights to drive the success of JPMorgan's product offerings.

Lead solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals.

Drive product-planning sessions, contribute ideas and insights, and assist in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches.

Mentor junior product managers to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Associate, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Associate, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: leading the development of medium-to-large scale initiatives leveraging the product development lifecycle for an initiative spanning at least 6 months and including external product and technology dependencies; product lifecycle activities including Leading Product Design, Product Planning and Product Execution phases of an initiative; identifying and defining requirements in collaboration with product designers and engineers; leveraging Agile methodology for product execution; leveraging data analytics to analyze customer trends and usage; using and querying relational databases to troubleshoot issues and develop trends; building and analyzing Business Process maps and Decision Models; querying a database with SQL; using and collaborating with software engineers on API requirements and interpreting JSON responses; using JIRA to capture user stories; developing user story maps to convey the scope of an initiative.
