Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to lead and support the commissioning of advanced electrical and cooling systems.
This role involves hands-on testing, documentation, and collaboration across engineering, production, and service teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
What will you do?
* Lead and document Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
* Perform project start-up activities in the factory and verify system performance before shipment
* Support production and service departments with technical expertise
* Conduct pre-energization checks including HiPot, Ground Continuity, and Insulation Resistance tests
* Assign and complete functional test templates
* Ensure power sign-off by cross-functional teams and complete all commissioning scripts
* Report lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
* Technical Skills
+ Strong understanding of AC/DC power principles
+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
+ Skilled in using test and diagnostic equipment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
+ Familiarity with power/control systems, PLCs, and NEC standards (preferred)
* Communication & Documentation
+ Strong report writing and documentation skills
+ Ability to write service reports, procedures, and professional correspondence
+ Excellent verbal communication skills
* Safety & Compliance
+ Adherence to safety policies and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
+ Awareness of NFPA-70E or OSHA standards (preferred)
+ Ability to identify and report workplace hazards

* Technical Antenna Supervisor
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Education
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
* Experience
+ 3-5 years in field services or a related industry
+ Hands-on experience with:
o UPS systems, power distribution, switchgear, PDUs, and ATS
o Electrical, electro-mechanical, or electronics-related equipment
o Electrical and cooling systems
o Data Center Infrastructure
* Physical Requirements
+ Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 lbs)
+ Able to stand for extended periods
