Salary Range: $62,644 - $66,165

Job Description:
The Manhattan District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an immediate opening for an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Coordinator/Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator.

In this position, the EEO Compliance Coordinator will assist with the preparation and distribution of EEO reports in compliance with DANY, City, State, and Federal requirements and assist with tracking and ensuring the Office is compliant with DANY, City, State, and Federal requirements.

The EEO Compliance Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting with accepting, analyzing, tracking, and processing complaints and/or requests and making recommendations for policies and procedures.

The Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator will oversee the intake of reasonable accommodation requests and maintain the reasonable accommodation database.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


* Assist with tracking and ensuring the office is compliant with applicable EEO laws and policies.


* Assists with the preparation and distribution of EEO reports in compliance with DANY, City, State, and Federal requirements.


* Assists in preparing quarterly and annual reports on office EEO Program Policy and Procedures.


* Assist with accepting, analyzing, tracking, and processing complaints and/or requests and making recommendations for policies and procedures.

Assist in updating EEO Program Policy and Procedures processes and reports.


* Assist with evaluating, monitoring, and analyzing the efficacy of the DANY EEO Program Policy and Procedures.


* Review employee requests for reasonable accommodation(s) and ensures that all relevant information is entered into the DANY and DCAS EEO system quarterly.


* Oversees the intake of reasonable accommodation requests and maintains the reasonable accommodation database


* Generates historical and statistical data reports based on information captured in a database as requested by management and/or needed for audit inquiries.


* Track and maintain DANY's compliance with all mandatory EEO trainings and create compliance reports for the EEO Officer.


* Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

In addition to the Minimum Qualification Requirements, all candidates must possess the following:


* Level 1 - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; and one (1) year experience in EEO related work, human resources, employment law, labor relations, compliance, or other relevant discipline.


* Level 2 - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; and two (2) years experience in EEO related work, human resources, employment law, labor relations, compliance, or other relevant discipline.


* Experience tracking related information, data management, reviewing data, analyzing, and presenting data....
