Digital Marketing Executive
What is the job?
The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for the development, implementation and performance of the distribution channel strategy, aligned to the hotel stay brand, loyalty brand and outlet marketing strategies, in order to achieve low cost book direct revenue, market share growth and brand preference.
The role drives channel performance via the management of social media best practices, consulting on optimised hotel marketing content, and ensures integrated use of new and existing IHG tools, platforms and systems.
It also is responsible for compliance, management and performance across Websites (WEB), Central Reservation Offices (CRO), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and On Line Travel Agents (OTA) to increase revenue through direct low cost system contribution.
Your day to day
* Create impactful and engaging content, events, and stories that influence the way people think.
* Instigate, curate, and adapt original concepts and ideas to meet market demand, reflecting our brand idea and values Understand what content drives action and results.
* Utilize online analytics and data insights to assess activity success and continually test and learn, tweak, and optimize online activities to drive marketing and business goals.
* Ensure that all photographs, videos, text, and information is current and correct via regular digital audits on all online media platforms.
* Oversee the development and implementation of the hotel PR, Media and Influencer plan.
* Create, develop and market key events for the hotel, especially during key business periods.
* Create on-brand copy for all content.
What we need from you
* Ability to create and execute digital marketing strategies and content plans.
* Proven working experience in digital marketing.
* Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
* Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
* Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
* Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends).
* Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
* Enlist a whole-channel approach to digital marketing, whereby full responsibility is assumed on the hotel's channels, content and digital performance.
