DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International is seeking a Survey Party Chief to be based out of our Little Rock, AR office.

The successful candidate will join a close-knit team of engineers and survey professionals responsible for delivering quality projects to an expanding base of state, local, and private clientele.

Responsibilities include:


* In the field collecting boundary evidence, topographic features or providing information to construction staff and clients.


* Ensure proper and safe operation of equipment following methods and procedures for your field survey work.


* Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Clients, both internal and external in the daily tasks.


* As needed, you'll assist in periodic project financial reporting with clear and concise communication, both in verbal and written correspondence.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


* High School Diploma or GED


* 5-10 years of diverse field survey and field crew leader experience with performing a full range of GPS and conventional surveys (including boundary line traversing, differential levels, high accuracy control surveys, setting aerial targets, construction staking, etc.)


* Excellent electronic survey geometry calculation skills, GPS equipment experience.


* Will be subject to drug test and/or background check.


* Must have valid driver's license and be willing to travel routinely, occasionally for extended periods of time.


* Experienced and/or familiar with ARDOT Field Data Collection Techniques.
