Key Responsibilities

As a co-op in Shoulder Reconstruction R&D, you will be supporting and working alongside a multi-functional development team (Quality/Manufacturing/R&D/Marketing) supporting the design, conceptualization and market introduction of shoulder reconstruction implants and the associated instruments and technologies.

You will work with a senior level engineer(s) supporting various product development activities that may include implant and instrument design, test fixture design, performing product testing and writing testing reports, creating and leading design control documentation, etc.

You will also have a chance to work with surgeons in a cadaveric setting assessing device performance and acquiring surgeon feedback.

The incumbent will be encouraged to lead portions of the projects driving product development and value creation initiatives that contribute to continued success of the J&J MedTech Portfolio.

You will also be assigned a mentor to provide support throughout the program.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work independently and experience the end to end process of product development.
