ITSM Staff Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for architecture design of complex ServiceNow product solutions.
• Gather requirements from Business Owners, and craft fast, efficient, and large-scale solutions.
• Assess architecture and Solution designed to support Kenvue objectives including alignment with ServiceNow implementation best practices.
• Hands on experience to perform quick POC's to demonstrate new features to business owners and accelerate time from design to development.
• Implementation experience in CSDM and CMDB solutions and enhancements.
• Designing in-depth solutions for multiple ITSM processes, e.g., Change, Incident, Problem, CMDB/ CSDM, Discovery & Asset Management etc.
• Exposing ITSM products to a broad community of software developers via modern REST APIs
• Responsible for architecture of ServiceNow Integrations, API, Plugins and Scoped applications
• Provide technical guidance on ServiceNow platform wide solutions.
• Suggests improvements and new features and functionalities proactively to Product owners along with supporting process related work aligns to technical areas.
• Stakeholder management skills to ensure prioritization and pragmatic approach to solutions.
• Advocates for technology and innovation; identify new and emerging technology to deliver business needs.
• Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Leads and provides mentoring and guidance to Developers in the scrum team (incl.
3rd parties) and enforce coding standards.
• Makes sure stories are delivered in business priority order, Backlog delivery (enhancements/defects)
• Take the ownership of complex business requirements and ensure that solution is delivered as per the agreed timelines.
• Experience in building Service Catalogs and maintaining existing Service Catalogs
• Experience on widget creation for ServiceNow Service Portal
• Mange & collaborate with vendor partners to deploy ServiceNow Product solutions using agile delivery.
Qualifications Position Requirements:
• 10 years of relevant professional experience
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience with design, development, and deployment on the ServiceNow platform
• Good experience and exposure to ITSM and CMDB.
• Certification in ServiceNow System Administration, Application Development and Scripting (minimum 2 certifications)
• Demonstrated experience as a technical architect.
• Demonstrated experience balancing business needs with customization controls and speed/scale.
• Experience with a modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS)
• Experience working in and/or leading Product, Agile, and Scrum teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both 1-1 and large group settings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
