This position reports into the EMEA Tech Ops Manager and is based at our Helsingborg site.

What you will do

As the Automation & Engineering Lead, you will drive our engineering and automation strategies, leading a talented team and collaborating across departments to boost production efficiency and uphold safety and quality standards.

This hands-on role oversees projects from concept to completion, ensures compliance, and brings forward new technologies to keep the company competitive and aligned with Industry 4.0 advancements.

Key Responsibilities


* Develop and implement automation strategies to enhance production efficiency.


* Oversee new system and equipment installation to ensure accurate specifications and timely project completion.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize processes.


* Set and maintain standard operating procedures and engineering policies for streamlined operations.


* Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed.


* Mentor and manage a team, offering performance feedback and fostering a high-performing culture.


* Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance with industry advancements.


* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to implement Industry 4.0 solutions

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.


* 6-8 years of experience in automation and engineering, with a focus on leadership.


* Strong project management, analytical problem-solving, and PLC programming skills.
