Safety Technician, Journeyman 2B

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Technician to join our team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about workplace safety and eager to build their careers in the field.

The Safety Technician will assist in ensuring compliance with safety protocols, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of health and safety within the organization.

Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, concepts in the field.

Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

Works under general direction.

Independently determines and develops approach to solutions; work is reviewed for adequacy on completion.

Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.

Key Responsibilities:


* Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.


* Assist in implementing and maintaining safety programs and procedures.


* Support incident investigations and report findings to the Safety Manager.


* Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.


* Participate in safety training sessions and workshops.


* Work collaboratively with team members and staff to promote a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


* OSHA 30 (General Industry and Construction).


* OSHA 510 certification.


* Experience working in a chemical facility or similar environment.


* High school diploma or GED (required); Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
