Job Summary

The Equipment Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and safe utilization of our equipment fleet, minimizing downtime through effective maintenance and repair facilitation.

This role acts as a vital link between our mechanics, fuel/lube technicians, Equipment Services administrative team, and project teams, ensuring seamless operations at both our Sundt field and project locations.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Facilitate coordination of vehicle titles, registration, and transfers within the designated area.
2.

Assist in permitting processes and property setup, contributing to streamlined project operations.
3.

Contribute to parts procurement and orchestrate repairs through dealership partnerships, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
4.

Monitor equipment utilization on both owned and rented equipment across various projects.
5.

Project Team Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, ensuring clear communication on equipment availability and repair status.
6.

Pursue continuous learning and skill development through training and education opportunities, positioning yourself as a technical resource within the craft.
7.

Regularly engage with project teams to coordinate schedules, mobilization, and demobilization plans, aligning equipment needs with project timelines.
8.

Collaborate with project teams and the equipment department to efficiently allocate resources, including equipment transport and availability, enhancing project efficiency.
9.

Collaborate closely with mechanics and supervisors to implement proactive maintenance and repair strategies, enhancing the overall equipment life cycle.
10.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of equipment operations, maintenance, safety protocols, troubleshooting techniques, and repair strategies.
11.

Regularly inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and optimal performance.

Minimum Job Requirements

1.

Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred.

2.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, with mechanical experience strongly preferred.
