What you will do

The R&D Deployment Packaging Engineer supports deployment and qualification of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging for projects in his scope.

These projects might be - but not limited to - NPD, reformulation, quality and compliance of packaging components, qualification of equivalent packaging materials or additives, mould duplication, plant support.

The R&D Deployment Packaging Engineer is demonstrating high level of accountability in projects documentation to ensure Quality & Compliance targets are systematically met.

The R&D Deployment Packaging Engineer executes projects E2E and is also supporting R&D Packaging transversal programs.

Under supervision, supports simple to medium complexity technical projects

The overall strategy for the Packaging Team is provided by the Regional Management and all the activities part of the R&D Deployment Engineer Packaging's mission are always focused on deploying the regional strategy.

Key Responsibilities


* Execute technical solutions, including materials aligned to sustainability guidelines


* Execute the packaging development plan


* Analyse and validate packaging technical drawing


* Define and communicate packaging milestones


* Evaluate and communicate risks with associated mitigation/back up plan


* Initiate safety assessment process, through proper communication to responsible department


* Generate Packaging documentation for Product release for his own projects or can validate packaging document for projects managed by his direct reports or by another member of the Packaging Team.

What we are looking for

Qualifications Required :


* 3-5 years experience in Packaging, preferably in Personal Care industry.


* Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related science field is required, advanced degree is preferred.


* Preferred experience in CPG/FMCG.
