Commercialization Specialist
The Commercialization Specialist is responsible for coordinating projects and maintaining product information for a production facility. This position is responsible for: maintenance of product files in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, building & maintaining the packaging item library, building & maintaining bills of material (BOM) in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead commercialization process for production site including a weekly meeting to recap progress of previous week and current objectives for stakeholders.
* Creation and maintenance of Items and Bill of Materials in PLM, ERP and Documentation portals, sourcing information from R&D and Customers
* Manage product setup, change and obsoletion processes.
* Maintain PLM/ERP programs and ensure supporting processes are being followed.
* Assist with the creation of Production Documentation.
* Maintain packaging library (artwork, dielines and pallet patterns) and facility packaging requirements.
* Collaborate with R&D on documentation needs for trials and initial production.
* Collaborate with Production, Regulatory, and Quality to understand timing/information needed as they relate to Actus Nutrition products.
* Direct contact with Actus Leadership, R&D, Production, Sales, Purchasing and Corporate/Plant Quality departments as well as external contacts with vendors, customers, and government agencies.
* Support Continuous Improvement.
* Qualified and trained individual will provide as a back-up in the event of an absence of other employees.
* Perform special projects and other responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3-5 years’ experience in food manufacturing at a plant and/or corporate level.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Food Safety, Sciences, or Engineering preferred
* Strong computer skills; including MS Office Suite.
* Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to track short- and long-term projects, work independently and balance multiple priorities.
* Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential position attributes.
* Problem identification and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Contract Manufacturing in the food industry
* Experience with PLM and ERP systems preferred.

The starting annual base salary range for this position is between $65,000—$80,000 USD with initial eligibility consideration for our Discretionary Incentive Plan.
