Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in computer server platforms, specifically in networking controllers.

You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, data centers, and HPC and working with Product Manager to manage networking adapter product line.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in computer server architecture as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Responsible for pre and post sales on-site technical support, provide optimized solutions for our server products, specifically networking controllers such as Ethernet, Infiniband, and Fibre Channel
• Conduct market and technical research; Provide technical recommendations, implementations and support for optimized networking solutions, both hardware and software
• Lead other product hardware and software engineers in investigation and resolution of problems in development, utilizing the knowledge and skills in networking technologies, protocols, topologies, interoperability, hardware and software interaction, perform product design, integration, conduct diagnostics routines for troubleshooting
• Handle day-to-day customer technical support of networking related issues
• Improve networking product quality by proactively resolving field issues
• Act as liaison between the product development team and the customers to evaluate technical requirements of the network products to meet customer's specifications, work closely with Research and Development on new server products design and customer's problem solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

EE, CE, or CS degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of working experience in Server Products and Networking is preferred.
• Familiar with networking adapters is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of computer server/ GPU products.
• Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player is a plus
