Koch-Glitsch is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our profitability in the North American Chemical & Specialty Chemical market.

As a strategic "hunter", you'll identify and engage new business opportunities.

This role offers flexibility of location, ideally in the Gulf Coast or eastern United States region.

This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.

What You Will Do



* Engage proactively with new and existing customers, developing strong relationships to identify and capture profitable business opportunities in the Chemical & Specialty Chemical market.


* Own the sales process, from origination to follow-up, validating our technical solution can deliver desired outcome to negotiate and close profitable sales, ensuring successful outcomes.


* Develop a thorough understanding of customer's needs, pain points, opportunities, and priorities to effectively convey Voice of Customer and develop market point of view.


* Collaborate effectively across sales regions and lead strategic alignment of Montz and Koch-Glitsch resources to develop and articulate tailored solutions and compelling value propositions for the customer.


* Navigate and understand the needs of Chemical & Specialty Chemical companies, leveraging industry knowledge to influence decision-makers.


* Maintain flexibility with travel and location.

This position will have a minimum of 50% travel in the Gulf Coast and eastern US region.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Experience in a business development or similar role selling technical solutions into the refining, petrochemical, or specialty chemical industry.


* Demonstrated ability to engage with customers proactively and strategically, driving significant business growth.


* Experience collaborating with and leading across diverse teams to achieve targeted strategies and profitable sales growth.


* Experience developing and executing a strategic sales/business plan to achieve profitable growth in targeted markets.

What Will Put You Ahead



* Experience in or selling technical solutions to the chemical or specialty chemical industry with knowledge of Process licensing requirements.


* Experience articulating complex value propositions and delivering customized solutions.


* Strong network within the chemical or specialty chemical industry, particularly in the Gulf Coast and Eastern US.


* Familiarity of both Koch-Glitsch and Montz equipment, with the ability to distinguish and strategically promote the appropriate technical solution to customers.

For this role, we anticipate paying $110,000 - $185,000 per year.
