90% FTE, Day/Evening shifts.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
* Provide care to a variety of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting requiring day treatment therapies.
* Administer infusions to pediatric patients for a wide variety of conditions including, cancer, hematologic conditions, Crohn's disease, juvenile arthritis, genetic disorders, transplant and research.
* Provide post-anesthesia care including phase I and phase II recovery following radiologic interventions/treatments.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including, proceduralists, specialty providers, APPs child life, scheduling, and radiology
* Set priorities adapting to changing patient and unit/clinic situations.
* Work in two of three care areas: day treatment therapies (e.g.
infusions, transfusions), sedation for procedures as well as pre-post anesthesia care.

Education:
Preferred - Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Work Experience :
Minimum - Six (6) months pediatric nursing experience
Preferred - One (1) year recent (within 2 years) experience in Pediatric Acute Care and/or Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or Pediatric Sedation and/or Pediatric PACU or pre/post anesthesia area.
Certifications :
Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
CPR certification.
PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred - Chemotherapy certification.
