Record Support Specialist

SUMMARY:

Make phone calls to obtain medical records and bills for clients as quickly as possible to allow them to settle their cases in a timely manner.

Process medical records and constantly find a better way to get the job done and improve efficiency, and then communicating learns to coworkers. 

 

Essential Functions: 


* Provide prompt and effective customer service to Legal Assistants.


* Able to meet daily/weekly performance expectations, as outlined by the MSP scorecard.


* Quickly and efficiently make calls to providers to follow up on requests for medical records and bills.


* Process medical records and bills as they come in to make them available to the law firm


* Build and mend relationships with providers and be able to negotiate with difficult providers.


* Keep the total number of records older than 45 days at or below the par value as assigned to your firm by your Team Lead or Assistant Coach.


* Keep the total number of records older than 30 days at or below the par value as assigned to the firm by the Team Lead or Assistant Coach.


* Complete Provider Address within 4-7 days.


* Maintain the firm’s average day to receive records at par as assigned by the Team Lead.


* Maintain work quality as determined by QA reviews.


* Complete cancellations of requests for records within 24 hours

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

·         High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

This role is not a supervisor position.
